Karina is a Los Angeles native who made Washington home 14 years ago — and it was here that her journey in the beauty industry truly began. What started as a passion quickly grew into a career that has now spanned over 13 years.

She is the owner of two beauty businesses: one located in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood and Oh Sweet Skincare in Bellevue. Established in 2015 and under Karina’s ownership since 2019, Oh Sweet has evolved beautifully over the years — from team expansions and location changes to a refined, results-driven service menu.

As of March 2026, Oh Sweet Skincare becomes an intentional one-woman studio, with Karina personally providing every service. Having trained her previous estheticians herself, she is excited to return to a more intimate, elevated client experience where every treatment reflects her standards and expertise.

Karina began her career at the brow bar with Benefit Cosmetics, where she developed an expert eye for shaping brows to complement every face. That foundation built her deep understanding of facial balance, precision, and personalized beauty.

Her philosophy is simple: healthy skin starts with education. Karina prioritizes building long-term relationships with her clients by guiding them through customized skincare routines and professional treatments tailored specifically to their goals. She believes consistency, high-quality products, and expert guidance are the keys to achieving your best skin.

The beauty industry has opened doors Karina once only dreamed of, and she’s passionate about continuing to grow, learn, and bring the latest skincare innovations to her clients.

When she’s not in the treatment room, you’ll find her traveling, exploring the PNW’s incredible food scene, spending time with her husband and friends, reading, researching new skincare trends, or watching documentaries.
