Henna stains the outermost layer of your skin as well as coating the hair. Because the hair is coated by the henna it creates the perfect environment to nourish the hair and help with growth long term. The stain on the skin will fade after 2 weeks or so but lasts in the hair up to 8 weeks. Henna is great for people with sensitive skin; there are no scents or fragrances, no harsh chemicals, and—since its all-natural plant derived pigment—no animal products either.
